John Haynes (and wife Joanna) are the creators of The Gumbo Gang, a transmedia experience aimed at fighting childhood obesity. Award winning producers, Joanna and John Darling Haynes are producing several documentary, television and motion picture projects.
The team founded Wish Picture Shows and Planet Pigskin Worldwide while also partnering in a fine art career showing John's work in galleries around the country. The Haynes' have infused John's whimsical painting style and use of bold color into The Gumbo Gang project to inspire the creative style, look and feel of the project.
John and Joanna reside in St. Gabriel, Louisiana with their two boys Blue and Jackson, pet chickens and three canine daughters Allie, Sugar and Beignet.
