How to Battle Snoring with The Snorinator
Thursday Feb 23, 2023
Thursday Feb 23, 2023
Susan and Lloyd Ecker of The Snorinator, a patented, non-invasive, high density, memory foam pillow that will help you sleep upright and put your snoring to rest for good joins eHealth Radio and the Health News and Sleep Health Channel.
Listen to host Eric Dye & guests Susan and Lloyd Ecker discuss the following:
I read your interesting Ecker family business bio. Can you give us some of the highlights and then tell us how you two came up with the Snorinator?
It sounds like you came up with The Snorinator so you would both get better sleep?
2019 was three years ago. What happened next?
I saw in your Press Kit, last month you were awarded a U.S. Patent. What got you that?
If someone is interested in getting more information or purchasing The Snorinator, where should they go?
Besides having three children and three grandchildren, Susan Ecker’s greatest accomplishment is being the sole inspiration for every single one of Lloyd Ecker’s successes.
When they both got to Ithaca College, it would be the first time Susan inspired Lloyd. He knew she was there, but he needed to figure out how to meet her. In 1973, after he got Bette Midler to agree to perform at I.C., the future Eckers went on their first date, had dinner with Midler after the show, and ten years later, in 1983, the couple had been married for eight years and were expecting their third baby. That’s when Susan inspired Lloyd a second time by making him a baseball hat saying “Father-to-be”. Lloyd changed the “Father-to-be” to “Father-to-BEE” with a BumbleBEE logo, expanded with gifts for the entire family-to-BEE, and in 2004 when Babytobee.com was collecting 15,000 mother-to-be names a month, the company sold for 8-figures. All because Susan made Lloyd a silly hat!
After that, Susan gave Lloyd his third inspiration. “I wanna have dinner with Bette Midler again,” his muse stated. So, in 2006 Lloyd got to work on reintroducing a trailblazing Vaudeville star named Sophie Tucker. To date, Team Ecker has been nominated for a Grammy, their documentary got rave reviews in the NY Times, they won a book award, and currently they are producing their musical SOPH which is headed to Broadway. When they make their HBO Tucker series, Lloyd plans to hire Midler to play Sophie and get her a couple of Emmy awards. Then, Susan will have dinner with Bette again!
Which brings us to Susan’s latest Lloyd inspiration, The Snorinator! After forty-five years of marriage and Lloyd’s house rattling snoring, in 2019 Susan finally put her foot down and kicked Lloyd out of the bedroom.” Forget about “Necessity” being the mother of invention. As you now know, for Lloyd, it has always just been “Susan”!
After months of research, and an approved U.S Patent, something else, besides snoring, is once again keeping the Eckers up in the bedroom!

Dr. Michael K. Turner an Integrative Medicine Physician and Men’s Health Specialist based in Tri-Cities, Washington joins eHealth Radio and the Covid-19 Information and Health News Channels. Called “genuine,” “caring,” and “the best doctor in the world” by patients, Dr. Turner brings a high degree of empathy, trademark optimism, and in-depth expertise to his practice.
Listen to host Eric Dye & guest Dr. Michael K. Turner discuss the following:
You have a very well rounded practice with extensive studies in many lanes. What would you say is your favorite area of expertise? What is your East meets West approach?
Talk to us about when Covid hit and how did you pivot during that time in your practice?
Tell us your research and data on treating patients with Ivermectin.
We saw you put out a Covid prevention plan and treatment plan, tell us how one prevents contracting Covid.
What about your telemedicine platform. What types of patients would benefit from this and do you see this as the future for medicine practice?
Patients seek you out from all over the country. What is the one advice you want to share with every one on keeping healthy during this time.
Dr. Michael K. Turner is an Integrative Medicine Physician and Men’s Health Specialist based in Tri-Cities, Washington. Called “genuine,” “caring,” and “the best doctor in the world” by patients, he brings a high degree of empathy, trademark optimism, and in-depth expertise to his practice. Providing world-class health/wellness advice on topics that include holistic COVID care and chronic illness, he harnesses modern developments in medicine to bring patients the best care possible via in-office or telehealth appointment options.
Earning his undergraduate degree at Stanford University, Dr. Turner went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine from Harvard Medical School with a residency at the Mayo Clinic. With over a decade of clinical experience, along with a background in both hospital-based and private practice, he couples a research-based approach with a unique passion for excellence as he helps to develop the growing field of integrative/holistic medicine. His current areas of expertise include advanced treatments in sports medicine and anti-aging, along with chronic illness, nerve disorders, and general health.
Dr. Turner is one of the nation’s few male doctors with an in-depth knowledge of chronic illnesses, such as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), Epstein Barr Virus (EBV), Hashimoto’s Disease, Cushing’s Disease, and COVID-19 Long Haul effects. His journey into the complex world of these “invisible” conditions - often overlooked or misdiagnosed - began when his wife received a diagnosis of cancer and chronic illness. Symptoms like exhaustion, brain fog, or fatigue are often misconstrued as signs of hormone imbalance or depression, particularly in female patients. Living in the wake of these diseases and their symptoms, Dr. Turner sought to understand them at a DNA level, searching for the most effective answers.
Today, as COVID Long Haul affects an increasing number of Americans, Dr. Turner works alongside patients, digging for the real root causes and best courses of treatment. He offers research-based expertise on controversial topics such as Ivermectin, the pro’s/con’s of vaccines, and holistic/natural care approaches, as well as the challenges of medical censorship/cancel culture. He also advises patients on outpatient prevention/treatment options, so they can increase the odds of staying well at home and avoiding a trip to the E.R. Dr. Turner proudly serves the Richland, Kennewick, Pasco, and surrounding communities.

What is a Head Spa?
Monday Nov 02, 2020
Monday Nov 02, 2020
Sayuri Tsuchitani, owner of Head Spa EN who uniquely delivers quality sleep to everyone joins eHealth Radio and the Health News and Sleep Health Channels.
Listen to interview with host Eric Michaels and guest Sayuri Tsuchitani discuss the following:
What is Japanese Head Spa?
Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
Are you able to identify a “tipping point” in your career when you started to see success? Did you start doing anything different? Are there takeaway or lessons that others can learn from that?
In your experience what were the most effective ways for your business to generate leads and sales? Can you share a story about that?
You are a person of great influence. If you could inspire a movement that would bring the most amount of good to the most amount of people, what would that be?
Sayuri Tsuchitani emigrated from Japan to New York City in 1998 to attend beauty school. She went to work as a hairstylist in Shanghai, on a cruise ship and London before returning to NYC in 2010. Her next stop was Hawaii, where she worked before landing in Beverly Hills, which she calls home since 2016.
Sayuri iregularly travels to NYC and Hawaii to accommodate her existing clients. When she is not working or traveling for work, you can find her at a local Japanese retirement and assisted-living community providing haircuts for the elderly. She is grateful for the chance to be surrounded by so many beautiful seniors, reminding her of her own grandmother in Japan. She wants to help create a joyful space for the elderly where they can gossip and laugh freely.
Sayuri also travels back to Japan to hold training and seminars in which she shares with the next generation of young hairstylists her experiences working around the world and her knowledge of Western techniques. She makes a point of collaborating with renowned U.S. stylists who can enlighten, educate, and promote female empowerment and equality for a new generation of Japanese women stylists in the traditionally male-dominated industry.
Headspa En is the fruition of her long held belief in the Japanese adage Go-En, as “serendipitous encounters resulting in everlasting relationships.” The term en itself is derived from the Japanese Buddhist term Innen, meaning a narrative of happenings based on the inter-connectedness of one's past, present, and future experiences. From that comes headspa En's byword:"Creating an Everlasting Bond”.
