Listen to interview with host Eric Michaels and guests Kim Garriott & Jef Williams discuss the following:What is the role of governance in an Enterprise Imaging strategy? Any best practices you’ve found? We hear a lot about analytics in healthcare today. What role does analytics play with enterprise imaging?Viewing images is the most critical outcome of this initiative, so how are people finding success with deploying this? Is it similar to the old PACS implementations? To date, most imaging acquisition workflows have been designed for the Radiology department and include many steps. How are organizations developing streamlined workflows to fit the needs of non-Radiology providers acquiring images at the point of care? There has been a lot of talk about finding an ROI in storage costs with an Enterprise Imaging model. Have you found that to be true and are these “real” dollars? Most healthcare organizations are sharing images with their patients and other providers on CDs. What are the challenges created by the use of CDs and is there a better way to share this information?
