Dr. Charles Sutera DMD, FAGD, is the Founder of Aesthetic Smile Reconstruction, and is a leader in delivering advanced multidisciplinary dentistry. He has completed post graduate education programs in the fields of dental anesthesiology, smile aesthetics, dental implantology, TMJ and oral surgery. Dr. Sutera is board certified in moderate parenteral sedation by the Massachusetts Dental Board. He completed the coveted Aesthetic Advantage program at New York University which is recognized as a leader in veneers, smile makeovers, and facial aesthetics training.
Dr. Sutera has also earned the distinguished designation of Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry )FAGD) and is recognized in the dentistry field as a leader, exemplifying to other dentists the importance of quality continuing dental education.
Dr. Sutera completed his implant training at the Whitecap Surgical Center in Salt Lake City, extensive periodontal training at the GIDE Institute, and has trained in 3rd molar surgery. He continues to maintain certification in proficiency by the Academy of Laser Dentistry, and is a recognized Invisalign provider. He strives to make treatment a comforting process, encourages patient involvement, and is meticulous in achieving the highest level of results. He attended Gettysburg College where he earned the prestigious Presidential Scholarship each year of attendance. Dr. Jang majored in Cellular, Molecular and Developmental Biology (BS) from the University of Washington in Seattle. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. During her time at the University of Michigan, Dr. Jang was involved in research on topical fluoride applications in dental school clinic.
As Dr. Jang has been treating patients of all ages, she understands different needs for each patient. Dr. Jang practices all aspects of general and family dentistry, including restorative, cosmetic and implant dentistry. Dr. Jang is certified in nitrous oxide-oxygen sedation. This new and improved digital workflow can provide more efficient, comfortable and predictable dentistry to patients. Dr. Brian Fusillo has been featured in Connecticut Magazine’s annual issue of Top Dentists. Before joining Dental Associates in 2008, Dr. Fusillo practiced in Northern New Jersey and the New York metro area. During those years, he was part of the management team at a practice in New Jersey and aided in the formation of a new state-of-the art practice in New York.
Dr. Fusillo grew up in New Jersey, where he graduated from Northern Valley Regional High School in Old Tappan. In 1999 he received his Bachelors degree in Biology with honors from the University of Scranton in Scranton, PA. He then went on to attend the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), now Rutgers, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in 2003. Dr. Fusillo continued his post-graduate studies at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY, where he conducted his General Practice Residency. He worked closely with the Oral & Maxiofacial Surgery team and expanded his knowledge and experience in surgical and non-surgical aspects of dentistry.
Dr. Fusillo, who is also fluent in Spanish and proficient in Italian, was on the Dean’s List at UMDMJ and served as an officer of the HDA. He is currently a member of the UMDNJ Alumni society, the American Dental Association (ADA), and the Connecticut Dental Association. Throughout his career he has received multiple awards and honors including an Award for Outstanding Community Service from the American Legion.
Dr. Fusillo also participates in numerous continuing education courses on all the latest forms of cosmetic dentistry. His commitment to improving dental treatment has motivated him to continue his ongoing research into improving patient’s aesthetic concerns as well as addressing their dental anxieties.
