Robin Farmanfarmaian is an entrepreneur and speaker who has worked in eleven tech startups, mostly in biotech and medicine. Robin believes that technology can empower patients and make a positive impact in the health and medical fields.
As a teenager, she was misdiagnosed with an autoimmune disease that led to forty-three hospitalizations and six major surgeries - many of them ultimately unnecessary. Robin’s unique personal history inspired her to write The Patient as CEO as an education tool and resource for healthcare professionals, the tech industry and most importantly - patients.

CareMonkey's CEO, Troy Westley, has extensive experience in enterprise software, including Salesforce.com and Oracle.
In 2015, CareMonkey won the Slush Pitching Fest in Helsinki, beating over one thousand other entries. The €650,000 awarded made it the largest ever prize offered at a startup pitching competition. Chairman of Strategic Models/Fuerst Technologies, a New York-based ideas nurturing and advisory boutique, and the co-founder of multiple technology companies. The health companies he co-founded in recent years: Medivizor, a personalized health information company; Eco-Fusion, a digital drugs company dealing with more than 10 indications; LabStyle Innovations (OTCBB:DRIO), a diabetes management company (creator of the Dario device); and Circ MedTech, an HIV prevention medical devices company (creator of the PrePex device). He also co-founded Tevel, a global network of investors focused on Israeli-related technology companies. He was the initiator and co-Director of the Technology Valuation Executive Program at Columbia Business School, and served as a faculty member at Yale University School of Management and Yale International Center for Finance. He had published multiple academic papers and popular press articles in newspapers such as the Financial Times and published multiple books with publishers including Prentice Hall.
Dr. Fuerst had advised multiple private and public corporates on a variety of issues including strategy, technology assessment, valuation and intellectual property.
