Duration: 19:15
Dr. Edward F. Group III, DC, NP, DACBN, DCBCN, DABFM
Dr. Edward F. Group III founded Global Healing Center in 1998 and currently serves as Chief Executive Officer. At the forefront of the research and development team, Dr. Group assumes a hands-on approach to producing new and advanced degenerative disease products and information.
Dr. Group has studied natural healing methods for over 20 years and, though he no longer sees patients individually, now focuses on spreading the word of health and wellness to the global community. Under his leadership, Global Healing Center, Inc. has earned recognition as one of the largest alternative, natural, and organic health resources on the Internet.
Dr. Group's Mission
Dr. Group believes his personal mission is to help the world by teaching and promoting philosophies that produce good health, a clean environment, and positive thinking. This, he believes, can restore happiness, and love.
Dr. Group considers it part of his responsibility to expose hidden truths of the medical industry, which has a tendency to treat symptoms of disease and not the underlying cause. The incidence of disease is increasing at an alarming rate, a statistic Dr. Group believes is an indication that the current healthcare system is not working.
Dr. Group centers his philosophy around the understanding that the root cause of disease stems from the accumulation of toxins in the body and is exacerbated by daily exposure to a toxic living environment.

Friday Apr 24, 2015
Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Champion, and one of the UFC's most recognizable faces Rich Franklin joins eHealth Radio and the Health, Fitness, and Nutrition Channels to talk about how to stay in your game with Armor Gel a nano silver-based, wound dressing gel for athletes of all ages that provides protection against external bacterial and pathogens.
Listen to interview with host Eric Michaels & guest Rich Franklin discuss the following:What sparked your interest in the topics of health and nutrition? Why did you choose to partner with ABL Silver to launch Armor Gel?What is Armor Gel?What are the various uses? Is it just for sports? What’s up next for you?
Duration: 12:33
Rich Franklin may be a simple Mid-western guy, but to anyone who knows him well, he’s a force of nature. A former math teacher turned mixed martial arts (MMA) champion, Franklin has competed in the Ultimate Fighting Championship for nearly twelve years and is one of the sport’s most recognizable faces.
Since putting his career on hold, Franklin joined the Singapore-based mixed martial arts organization ONE Championship in July 2014 as a Vice President. He serves as a spokesperson throughout Asia and the United States hosting seminars and working with fighters.
As if having a job on another continent wasn’t keeping him busy enough, Franklin has also teamed up with American Biotech Labs (ABL) to release Armor Gel, a nano silver-based, wound dressing gel that provides protection against external bacterial and pathogens.
Franklin is also in high demand for speaking engagements. His April 2014 Tedx talk on ‘How to Be a Loser’ garnered national attention in both the media and public arenas. In October, he addressed a 100+ audience at Chicago Ideas Week on the topic of ‘Work Like a Fighter.’
Since putting his fight career on hold, in the last year Franklin has been able to turn his attention to a longtime passion of his … health and nutrition. In high school, he was about gaining muscle, but becoming a professional athlete, he turned to performance and recovery. Now, having lost his father to heart disease, Franklin’s mission is about longevity and teaching others the importance of organic food and where it comes from.
In October 2013 he teamed up with a business friend to launch Ze/Lin Juice & Fusion Café in Beverly Hills. Not your ordinary cafe, Ze/Lin featured cold-press juices along with acai bowls, smoothies, and vegan/gluten free pastries. Due to his increasing travel schedule to Asia, Franklin closed the storefront to focus the business on the distribution of bottled juices.
In 2008, Franklin joined the ranks of select UFC athletes who have crossed over to “Hollywood” for possible careers in television and film. His friends gave him the nickname "Ace" for his resemblance to Jim Carrey’s character Ace Ventura. Franklin’s acting debut was in the sci-fi action film Cyborg Solider starring Tiffani Theissen where he played an escaped super solider. In 2010 he returned to the big screen as a college wrestling coach in Hamill, and then again this past summer in Mantervention.
Franklin is always one to give back and passionately supports U.S. troops. His American Fighter clothing donated a portion of sales to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV). He created the Keep It in the Ring Foundation to advocate non-violence and build character in youth through after school sports, martial arts and life skills programs. The DAV named him their National Spokesperson in 2008 and featured him in a televised public service announcement that aired over 11,000 times reaching 40 million homes and becoming the organization’s highest grossing PSA. Franklin has visited numerous military bases and veteran hospitals all over the world including Iraq and Guantanamo Bay.
Franklin currently lives in West Chester, Ohio but splits time between Asia for work. He enjoys playing the drums and spending time with family and friends.
