He became a passionate champion to rectify the status of care for residents of Assisted Living/Memory Care facilities. Dr. Ilkka Served on the Board of Trustees for the Florida Dental Association and is the liaison between the Board and the Florida Board of Dentistry. In addition, he is an Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Florida School of Dentistry. Dr. Ilkka also volunteers with St. Luke's Medical & Dental Clinic in Eustis, Florida as its Dental Director.
