My mission is to provide superior patient care; help patients achieve their individual goals; assist individuals in projecting a positive inner and outer energy; approach treatments conservatively for a natural appearance and graceful aging process.
Our society, demands that we maintain an active lifestyle into our later years and, yes, we want to stay healthy and vibrant for as long as possible. It is thought that our longevity is 25% genetics and 75% lifestyle. If we have positive feelings about ourselves, we are apt to be more physically active and engaged with the world. My goal is to foster a close, professional relationship with my patients in which I provide skilled, safe and appropriate cosmetic care to encourage them to live life to the fullest.

Dr. John Poothullil, Author of Eat Chew Live, a new book that offers a revolutionary way of preventing, and even reversing diabetes joins eHealth Radio and the Diabetes and Health News Channels.
Listen to interview with host Eric Michaels & guest Dr. John Poothullil discuss the following:What is different or new in your book that others have not already said about diabetes? What is your theory about the cause of diabetes? It is believed that diabetes can be controlled, but you suggest that it can be reversed, tell us how? Your book says, “How you eat is more important than what you eat.” What does this mean?Experts say that eating whole grain foods is beneficial because they contain vitamins. Your book doesn't seem to support that claim. Why?
Tip: The one thing you can do on a daily basis to prevent diabetes is to listen to your body and to be fully present while you are eating, so your body can tell you what it needs to prevent overeating, habitual eating, stress eating, and other behaviors that don't serve our health.
John Poothullill, MD, FRCP practiced medicine as a pediatrician and allergist for more than 30 years. He holds certifications from the American Board of Pediatrics, The American Board of Allergy & Immunology, and the Canadian Board of Pediatrics.
Dr. Poothullil has written articles on hunger and satiation, weight loss, diabetes, and the senses of taste and smell. He has been published in medical journals such as Physiology and Behavior, Neuroscience and Biobehavioral Reviews, Journal of Women’s Health, Journal of Applied Research, Nutrition, and Nutritional Neuroscience. His work has been quoted in Woman’s Day, Fitness, Red Book and Woman’s World.
