Warnings of Disease with Dawn Roberts
Sunday Aug 04, 2013
Sunday Aug 04, 2013
Dawn Roberts, Forensic Document Examiner and Handwriting Expert, and author of the new book "Warnings of Disease" joins eHealth Radio and the Nutrition and Weight Management Channels. Dawn shares how diet and lifestyle changes cured her body of multiple diseases, even those without a known cure.
Listen to interview with host Eric Michaels & guest Dawn Roberts discuss the following:Why did you write a book about the health and obesity crisis? What is pathogenesis? What are the 5 fundamental signs of inflammation, and how are they the starting point of disease? What is toxicity?Does changing a person's diet and lifestyle habits really restore good health? What are 5 things that listeners can do to help them along the road to recovery and weight loss?Duration: 18:28
Dawn Roberts is the author of "WARNINGS of Disease: Your Body Uses Symptoms to Communicate." While struggling with over 100 symptoms, 35 diagnosed diseases, and weight gain, she had questions regarding her failing health, but no medical doctor could give her the answer. Suffering with neurological disease, doctors suspected that Dawn had either MS, Parkinson's, or Lou Gehrig's disease. But the reality was that doctors were doing nothing to help, neither were the 23 medications that they had prescribed. In fact, she got sicker with each passing day until she said, "Enough, is enough!" This began her crusade to find the cause of disease and to eliminate it from her life.Totally frustrated with the medical establishment, Dawn turned to a Chiropractor/Homeopath for help. With his assistance, and a total change in her lifestyle and eating habits, Dawn was totally healed. Chronic disorders, even heart disease, simply vanished. At the persuasion of her Chiropractor to write a book, Dawn embarked on a 15-year scientific journey to do research. She then took a hiatus from her work as a Forensic Document Examiner to write "WARNINGS of Disease." Through this work, Dawn hopes to use her personal experience to help others. Her mission is to help people, who are sick, diseased and overweight, realize that junk food and toxic chemicals are perpetuating their problems.Dawn has been happily married for 32 years, and is the proud mother of two sons and a new daughter-in-law. She lives alongside a tranquil and serene river bordered by a Florida State Forest with her high tech husband, pre-Chiropractic son, 2 rambunctious dogs, a brood of chickens, and some crazy guinea hens.

Book Your Care is focused specifically on the substance abuse and eating disorder industry to help consumers make the best choice on their path to wellness.
Listen to interview with host Eric Michaels & guest Dan Reynolds discuss the following:Substance abuse treatment is a $30 Billion a year industry yet consumers seem to have very little to work with when deciding on the best treatment and facility. Was filling this hole the main motivation for launching BookYourCare? How does BookYourCare get the information you provide to consumers seeking treatment? What kind of insight can be gained from an unbiased review of a facility? What are a few of the most important questions someone needs to ask when speaking with a treatment facility representative? Are there red flags that people should look out for when considering a treatment facility?Having been around so many treatment facilities, what are the factors that make some better than others? BookYourCare is the first digital healthcare marketplace where consumers can actually bid on treatment. How does this work? What is the long-term goal of BookYourCare? Conclusion: Until now, people seeking substance abuse treatment options have had one of two avenues available to determine the best choice for care. Either through the marketing claims of the facility itself or by word of mouth. BookYourCare is the first and only service dedicated to providing consumers with the real information they need to make an informed decision. We wouldn’t buy a new car without checking out the safety reports delivered by an unbiased agency and we shouldn’t make potentially life-saving decisions without having as much information as possible either.
