Natalie Robinson Garfield has been a practicing psychotherapist in Manhattan and Long Island for over thirty years, specializing in parent-child education. Holding a degree in Infant and Toddler Development and Administration, Garfield has had an extensive career working in individual, couple, family and group therapy. THE SENSE CONNECTION, based on the theory of sense channel hierarchy, draws on her experience working with private patients and conducting large conferences, discussion groups and workshops. Garfield has primarily focused on psychological and developmental work, but she also has a background in program design, staff training and administration.
Garfield was part of the New Age movement in the 1970s, working with The Association for Humanistic Psychology, which sought to move toward a more aware and humane global society. She also designed and directed various programs within the Children’s Aid Society, which provided education for families about subjects ranging from childbirth preparation through parenting. Garfield has also served on the United Nations Commission for the International Year of the Child, bringing awareness to problems such as malnutrition and lack of educational access, affecting children around the world.
She has had over forty years experience as a consultant, supervising and training staff for various institutions, including AT&T, American Express, The Gesell Institute for Child Development, The Montefiore Medical Residency Program, The Gestalt Learning Center, and the Kings County District Attorney’s office.
Garfield is a founding member of the Association for Parent Education and is a featured expert on various television documentaries and radio shows, such as WYNY, CBS Documentary, CBS Evening News, Current Affair Extra, and ABC Eyewitness News. Dr. Janet Crain received her D.M.D. Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts in 1981. Dr. Crain has been treating patients suffering from chronic headaches and facial pain for the last 25 years at The Center for Headaches and Facial Pain, in South Amboy, New Jersey with her husband Dr. Ira Klemons. The practice is devoted exclusively to patients suffering from chronic headaches and migraines, as well as face, eye and ear pain, dizziness, tinnitus, and other debilitating conditions.
After battling a recurrence of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2004, Dr. Crain used her recovery to empower her to pursue a certification in hypnotherapy from the National Guild of Hypnotists. Dr. Crain has incorporated the benefits of medical hypnotherapy for relaxation, change and stress management with her patients. She focuses on the healing principle that negative relationships and stress are important factors which can interfere with her patients’ recovery.
Dr. Crain has been interviewed multiple times on television and radio. She has authored chapters to two textbooks on the subject of oral facial pain. She lectures internationally on her techniques to finding and maintaining successful relationships as the cornerstone to a healthy life. How did you first come up with idea of Always Connected?

Detective Sgt Thomas Rich, is currently a certified police officer in the State of New Jersey entering his 15th year of service.
Sgt Rich is the "original" creator/founder of a program called "Generation Text". After having huge success since 2008 with this program, he decided to create "Always Connected" in 2011 and take it to a whole new level.
The purpose of "Always Connected" is to inform law enforcement, educators, administration, youth workers, youth groups, parents and children of all ages how to utilize technology in a positive way. Having dealt with children and investigations for the past ten years, Sgt Rich realized the huge impact that technology was having on children, especially in regards to cyberbullying, Sgt Rich decided to focus his efforts on educating audiences about current trends, real life problems and solutions for schools, parents and children. Most importantly help to address the problems that children face using technology and how these pitfalls lead to cyberbullying.
Sgt Rich has been a DARE instructor for the past 10 years and has been involved with the children in his town for the past 12 years. Having spent his entire career dedicated to children, has helped make this program exceptional at every turn. He brings the real world experience of what kids are going through on a daily basis and most importantly SOLUTIONS..... Solutions to the hard questions that children face everyday.
Sgt Rich has been servicing the Tri-State area since 2008 covering these very important topics.
