Dr. Crain has been treating patients suffering from chronic headaches and facial pain for the last 25 years at The Center for Headaches and Facial Pain, in South Amboy, New Jersey with her husband Dr. Ira Klemons. The practice is devoted exclusively to patients suffering from chronic headaches and migraines, as well as face, eye and ear pain, dizziness, tinnitus, and other debilitating conditions.

After battling a recurrence of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2004, Dr. Crain used her recovery to empower her to pursue a certification in hypnotherapy from the National Guild of Hypnotists. Dr. Crain has incorporated the benefits of medical hypnotherapy for relaxation, change and stress management with her patients. She focuses on the healing principle that negative relationships and stress are important factors which can interfere with her patients’ recovery.

Dr. Crain has been interviewed multiple times on television and radio. She has authored chapters to two textbooks on the subject of oral facial pain.  She lectures internationally on her techniques to finding and maintaining successful relationships as the cornerstone to a healthy life. One of her primary goals is to help her patients to understand and overcome the emotional connection to their symptoms, resulting in physical and psychological healing and the restoration of balance in their lives.
