Saturday May 07, 2022
Dr. Michael K. Turner an Integrative Medicine Physician and Men’s Health Specialist based in Tri-Cities, Washington joins eHealth Radio and the Covid-19 Information and Health News Channels. Called “genuine,” “caring,” and “the best doctor in the world” by patients, Dr. Turner brings a high degree of empathy, trademark optimism, and in-depth expertise to his practice.
Listen to host Eric Dye & guest Dr. Michael K. Turner discuss the following:
You have a very well rounded practice with extensive studies in many lanes. What would you say is your favorite area of expertise? What is your East meets West approach?
Talk to us about when Covid hit and how did you pivot during that time in your practice?
Tell us your research and data on treating patients with Ivermectin.
We saw you put out a Covid prevention plan and treatment plan, tell us how one prevents contracting Covid.
What about your telemedicine platform. What types of patients would benefit from this and do you see this as the future for medicine practice?
Patients seek you out from all over the country. What is the one advice you want to share with every one on keeping healthy during this time.
Dr. Michael K. Turner is an Integrative Medicine Physician and Men’s Health Specialist based in Tri-Cities, Washington. Called “genuine,” “caring,” and “the best doctor in the world” by patients, he brings a high degree of empathy, trademark optimism, and in-depth expertise to his practice. Providing world-class health/wellness advice on topics that include holistic COVID care and chronic illness, he harnesses modern developments in medicine to bring patients the best care possible via in-office or telehealth appointment options.
Earning his undergraduate degree at Stanford University, Dr. Turner went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine from Harvard Medical School with a residency at the Mayo Clinic. With over a decade of clinical experience, along with a background in both hospital-based and private practice, he couples a research-based approach with a unique passion for excellence as he helps to develop the growing field of integrative/holistic medicine. His current areas of expertise include advanced treatments in sports medicine and anti-aging, along with chronic illness, nerve disorders, and general health.
Dr. Turner is one of the nation’s few male doctors with an in-depth knowledge of chronic illnesses, such as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), Epstein Barr Virus (EBV), Hashimoto’s Disease, Cushing’s Disease, and COVID-19 Long Haul effects. His journey into the complex world of these “invisible” conditions - often overlooked or misdiagnosed - began when his wife received a diagnosis of cancer and chronic illness. Symptoms like exhaustion, brain fog, or fatigue are often misconstrued as signs of hormone imbalance or depression, particularly in female patients. Living in the wake of these diseases and their symptoms, Dr. Turner sought to understand them at a DNA level, searching for the most effective answers.
Today, as COVID Long Haul affects an increasing number of Americans, Dr. Turner works alongside patients, digging for the real root causes and best courses of treatment. He offers research-based expertise on controversial topics such as Ivermectin, the pro’s/con’s of vaccines, and holistic/natural care approaches, as well as the challenges of medical censorship/cancel culture. He also advises patients on outpatient prevention/treatment options, so they can increase the odds of staying well at home and avoiding a trip to the E.R. Dr. Turner proudly serves the Richland, Kennewick, Pasco, and surrounding communities.
