Marisa Teiner, Nutritionist & Health Supportive Chef, has been in the wellness field for 15 years, providing health education and culinary nutrition for healthy living.
Marisa began her career from working as a teenager at health food stores to evolving into a nutritional professional and culinary spokesperson for premier spas including the Canyon Ranch and the Regency Health Spa in South Florida. Marisa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and is a graduate of the Natural Gourmet Cookery School in NYC. Marisa was the lead Nutritionist at the East Orange Child Development Center in East Orange, NJ and believes that introducing new foods early on is essential to establishing a lifetime of healthy eating habits. She was the Chairperson for Food Development and organized a monthly Menu Committee in which children were the focus groups.
She believes that you must look to the whole food traditions of our healthy ancestors, as well as, modern scientific studies. Her goal is to teach and inspire people to be healthy and happy. Her passion is to help others find balance and to achieve and sustain a healthy body, mind, spirit and lifestyle.
Outside of the kitchen, Marisa loves to hike, paddleboard and snowboard and is the proud mother of 2 wonderful children, Chace and Livia.

Jacqueline Williams-Hines journey began nearly sixteen years ago upon receiving a diagnosis of autism for her youngest son, Joshua. She began to navigate the maze of social services and special education. In an effort to educate her son’s peers on autism as well as catharsis in dealing with overwhelming depression, guilt and anxiety Mrs. Williams-Hines self-published her first children’s book, “Joshua and the Startabulous Dream Maker.” Positive response to her book prompted Williams-Hines to organize autism awareness walks, fairs and to continue with the book series to include three more books as well as an accompanying discussion guide.
In 2008 she founded No Small Victories, a program of The Martin Luther King Jr. Family Services of Springfield, MA. Through this organization she continues to promote education and early detection of autism through workshops and book signings. A state member of Mass Act Early, a national autism initiative founded by the Centers for Disease Control, No Small Victories works to combat diagnostic disparities suffered by African Americans and Hispanics in underserved communities.

After earning a B.S. and M.S. in chemistry at the University of San Francisco, Ron Najafi received his Ph.D. at University of California at Davis. He worked at Sigma-Aldrich, Rhone Poulenc Rorer (now Sanofi), and PerkinElmer-Applied Biosystems before leaving to found CP Lab Safety and NovaBay Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Najafi is an innate innovator. With more than 50 patents & pending patent applications, including a class of non-antibiotic, antimicrobial compounds named Aganocides®. The leading molecule of this aganocide family of compounds, auriclosene, has a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity against bacteria, viruses and fungi.
Ron Najafi championed development of NeutroPhase for wound care.
