TIP: Working with a WC will increase success and improve overall health by focusing on the things that are most important to each individual. Wellness is more about total health not just physical health. The biggest problem people have improving the quality of their life is sticking with making change happen and with knowing what the best next move is. WC address both of these making people more successful and taking steps that are right for them.
Paula’s professional as well as personal life has been build around advocating a healthy life. With a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology she has been a personal trainer, worked in cardiac rehab and currently holds a faculty position teaching at Metro State University in Colorado. Paula has presented nationally for the American College of Sports Medicine and is an online health writer for Greatist.com. She balanced her education by becoming a Registered Yoga Teacher and believes in the power of the mind/body connection. Through this blend of education, experience and mind/body awareness Paula understands the science and benefits of being healthy while still appreciating the importance of the total person.
Becoming a Certified Wellness Coach was a natural next step in her career. She has deep compassion for those struggling with finding a healthy balance in their lives and understands that for each person wellness is a very different picture. Paula has a unique ability to guide clients to the next step and helping them achieve success quicker.
Paula loves the life she teaches/coaches and when not helping someone else find the fun in life you can find Paula running, biking, skiing or snowboarding in the Rocky Mountains where she lives.
