Listen to interview with host Eric Michaels and guest Ravel Charles discuss the following:
- What is Game Learners?
- What are the overall opinions of video games and its benefits?
- Why did you decide to start Game Learners? Where did the inspiration come from.

Ravel Charles, a graduate of Boston College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, founded Game Learners while pursuing his Masters in Informatics at Northeastern University. Game Learners’ mission is to positively educate the community on the effects of video games by highlighting their educational and health benefits.
In creating Game Learners, Ravel hopes to create an opportunity for students, who may not have responded well to traditional teaching methods, to start to enjoy learning. He believes with all the time and money that children dedicate to video games, parents need to take an active role in understanding what their kids are consuming every day and optimizing it in ways that help their kids develop.
Backed by an abundance of research conducted in the field, Game Learners is creating an environment where gamers can feel empowered to use their video games as their learning advantage.
