Dr. Gordon Giddings' book, "Dying in the Land of Enchantment: A Doctor’s Journey", details his journey into the field of palliative medicine and his personal and professional development in the fields of Narrative Medicine and Dignity Therapy joins eHealth Radio and the Health Care News Channel.

Giddings attended the European School of Haematology where he completed a Blood & Marrow Transplantation Training Program and most recently completed a Palliative Medicine Fellowship at the University of Ottawa. He is the Program Director of the Palliative Medicine Residency Program at the University of Western Ontario, Windsor Campus, as well as the Lead Palliative Physician for Cancer Care Ontario, Erie St. Clair. He is also a noted author and essayist, whose pieces have appeared in international journals, most recently, Supportive Care in Cancer.
He loves to travel, and when not at work can be found either on an airplane or in an airport.
