Amanda Gorecki, an advanced registered nurse practitioner, is the founder of Healing Waters and Pure MD® Skin Science. She has a BSN from Seattle Pacific University and a MSN from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She trained at Harbor View Medical Center and Duke University where she worked as an emergency room nurse and nurse practitioner for the Department of Neurosurgery before venturing into private business. Enterprising Women Magazine named Gorecki Enterprising Woman of the Year in 2014. She is an Atlanta member of the WPO (Women’s Presidents Organization) Chapter 1, has received the Champions of Respect Award from the YWCA Women’s Shelter, has been nominated for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, and was named one of the 40 Under 40 by the Wichita Business Journal.
Gorecki founded Healing Waters in 2002, which has been named twice as the Best Medical Spa in the Country, and is a recipient of numerous local awards for Best Spa, Best Massage, and more. Healing Waters offers traditional spa treatments; aesthetic procedures such as Botox and dermal fillers; plastic surgery procedures including breast augmentation and reconstruction, liposuction, and more; and wellness programs designed to improve diet, exercise, hormonal imbalance, and lifestyle habits. There are currently two Healing Waters locations, in Wichita, Kansas and Durham, North Carolina. A new location will be opening in Columbia, South Carolina in 2014. Dr. Emil A. Tanghetti was born and raised in Sacramento. Dr. Tanghetti is a board certified dermatologist and a fellow in the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. When looking in the mirror I was getting deflated: my chin was
whittling away, upper lips seemed to be thinning out, I was getting this
