Entrepreneur, Jennifer Gerard started the highly successful Whitening Lightning as a mobile teeth-whitening service in Los Angeles. Within two years, she saw her business reach record internet sales with the introduction of her flagship product, the Whitening Lightning Super Booster Teeth Whitening Pen.
Never one to rest on her laurels, Gerard realized a growing demand for teeth whitening products that could achieve professional results at a lesser cost. Gerard soon introduced the Whitening Lightning Professional Home Teeth Whitening System. Again, she saw record sales with daily orders originating in over 80 countries.
Today, Gerard’s online professional teeth whitening products continue to break sales records and have gained critical acclaim and attention from such publications as InStyle, Soap Opera Weekly, OK, US Weekly and on many beauty blogs and websites.
Raised in the Santa Clarita Valley outside Los Angeles, Gerard attended California State University at Northridge where she studied Political Science. With plans to attend law school, she was soon distracted by a high paying sales job in corporate America. After 22 years as a sales manager and with encouragement from a friend, Gerard started her own business traveling to peoples’ homes and offices doing teeth whitening. “At first, I did not want to do teeth whitening because I thought it was disgusting to put my fingers in other people’s mouths”, laughs Gerard. This ‘disgust’ soon subsided when she learned about the growing need for such services and how profitable it could be.
Jennifer Gerard continues to realize her gift for sales and marketing in the ever-expanding business of teeth whitening, smile enhancement and beauty. Her Whitening Lightning brand has expanded to include the eco-friendly Zero White Whitening Pen, Color Your Smile Lighted Lip Gloss, Mane Colors Hair Extensions and there is a host of other products in pre-production.
