William Marchand, MD is a board-certified academic psychiatrist and neuroscientist. He is currently Associate Professor of Psychiatry (Clinical) at the University of Utah and also holds an adjunct appointment in the Department of Psychology. After a number of years of treating mood disorders in clinical settings, he decided to focus his efforts on research into the neurobiology of mood and anxiety disorders as well as education or mental health providers and the general public.
