A. David Rahimi, MD, is the founder and medical director of Forever Young, Inc. (www.foreveryoung.net) in Los Angeles and Westlake Village, CA. While he is experienced in all aspects of dermatology and cosmetic surgery, he is one of the most advanced laser experts in Los Angeles with 26 lasers and light sources in his practice. He has performed more than 100,000 laser procedures over the past 16 years. He is known for his proficiency in treating ethnic skin and child and adult acne, as well as performing minimally invasive face, eye and neck lifts under local anesthesia. His book Please Don't Die Trying to Become Beautiful: A Surgeon's Plea, centers on his belief that general anesthesia is not necessary for cosmetic surgery. He is currently writing a second book about acne.
On the staff of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Dr. Rahimi is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. An active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, American Academy of Dermatology, American Board of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Society of Dermatological Surgery. He is co-director of the Beverly Hills Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship program, where surgeons spend one year learning the art and science of cosmetic surgery.
Dr. Rahimi graduated Magna Cum Laude from UCLA and received his M.D. from George Washington University School of Medicine, Washington, D.C. He completed his internship in internal medicine at University of California, San Diego Medical Center and his residency in dermatology at Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York City. He was awarded the William Newman Award in Pathology and the Walter F. Rosenberg Award in Dermatology.
Dr. Rahimi has authored on a variety of topics including basal cell carcinoma, CO2 lasers, neck rejuvenation, tumescent liposuction, facelifts and melanoma. He has been interviewed extensively for print and broadcast media coverage, and in January 2015, he graced the cover of Evolution magazine where he was named #WorldClassDoctor.
