Dr. Josh Waltzman, a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon and Founder of Waltzman Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in Long Beach, California joins eHealth Radio and the Plastic Surgery Information Channel to talk about the non-invasive, body contouring phenom, CoolSculpting.

Listen to interview with host Eric Michaels & guests Dr. Josh Waltzman discuss the following:

  1. What is CoolSculpting and how does it work?
  2. What makes CoolSculpting different from other body contouring procedures, such as Liposuction or Tummy tuck?
  3. What could one expect from a CoolSculpting procedure? Is there preparation or aftercare required?
  4. Are there any known side effects or complications?
  5. How long does it take to see results and how long do these results last?

Dr. Waltzman is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who believes every patient deserves high quality, safe, and individualized care to help optimize their own personal goals. With his years of training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and a rooted passion for the field, Dr. Waltzman is dedicated to helping achieve the objectives of his patients with a regard for what is aesthetically natural and functional.

After graduating magna cum laude from the University of Southern California, Dr. Waltzman attended the University of California Irvine School of Medicine. While attending medical school he was accepted into one of the country’s pioneer dual degree MD/MBA programs at the Paul Merage School of Business. He was then accepted directly from medical school into a highly competitive combined Plastic Surgery residency at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York, a program with a long tradition of training leaders in the field of Plastic Surgery. Following his residency, Dr. Waltzman decided to pursue additional subspecialty training by completing an advanced Aesthetic Surgery fellowship at the internationally renowned Cleveland Clinic, where he fine-tuned his surgical skills in cosmetic surgery of the face, breast, and body, with an emphasis on facial rejuvenation. Dr. Waltzman performs a variety of cosmetic and non-surgical procedures, such as CoolSculpting.
