He has the distinction of being one of only 180 surgeons in the U.S. certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology.
For eight consecutive years, he has been listed in the prestigious Castle Connolly “New York’s Top Doctors” Directory as one of the “Best Plastic Surgeons in New York.”
His pioneering work in minimal incision cosmetic (endoscopic) surgery of the brow and breast has earned Dr. Diktaban a unique reputation in the field. In addition, his work been published in various peer-reviewed scientific journals.
He completed his residency at Lenox Hill Hospital and Mount Sinai Medical College, and his undergraduate degree from New York Medical College. At that point, he pursued a fellowship in microsurgery at the University of Louisville. His subsequent work led to a successful private practice in New York City.
Dr. Diktaban is active with the American Society of Plastic Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, the New York State Regional Society of Plastic Surgery and numerous national and regional professional medical associations.
